[Informal Review] All the Wrong Questions: Why Is This Night Different Fro m All Other Nights
*review taken from my account on Goodreads
This book is everything. This series has been gripping on me the first time I've laid my eyes on the cover for its first book. This ending has done brilliantly well for the entire series. This ending has made characters so well-defined. This book has given answers I wasn't expecting. This book has given questions that I didn't ask for. It's been a few minutes since I've turned the last page of the book and I'm not even kidding, my heart is beating so fast. I don't know if it's the same for every person who had read this, but for me, as someone who has been a big fan of Lemony Snicket ever since I've discovered reading was one of the best hobbies in the world, this book had had me slapping walls and making unnecessary noises as I scanned through every word in its content. I cannot emphasize any better how this book made me feel like I was part of the scene, like I had seen the murder in front of my eyes, that I had sat with the passengers and heard the same noises and saw wrong accusations of people aboard the train BUT GOOD (this makes a lot more sense if you're done with the book). All The Wrong Question had held on to me, but Why Is This Night Different From All Other Night clenched its fist so hard, it had me panting in the middle of it's pages. It created both a character and an author that brings precision and matter at its pinnacle. I will never forget this masterpiece even if I get into situations where I get scared then, but should've done so later.
